PLEASE NOTE - URGENT

Please verify all of your information before submitting your order. Ensure you include unit numbers, condo numbers, P.O. Boxes  etc. and that your email address is correct.

Heritage Bee Co. is not liable for orders that are delivered to the wrong address because of an error submitted by the purchaser. Heritage Bee Co. is not responsible for packages once they are in the couriers possession.  We will do our best to help you track down your package.  If your package is sent via Canada Post, it essential that you contact Canada Post in the event that your package doesn’t get delivered to you. Also, if your package doesn't arrive, Canada Post will open an investigation to track it down-please respond to their correspondence as this helps us to claim the expense of the missing products in the event that it can't be found which in turn helps us to keep prices down. If Canada Post cannot find your package after their investigation, we will send a replacement to you.  The only exception is in the case of Canada Post Super Boxes, when a customer fails to pick up their parcel within the specified period as indicated by Canada Post.

SHIPPING MATERIALS

All packages are sent in recyclable cardboard boxes with brown kraft paper wrapping inside.  Occasionally we use bubble wrap to ensure the glass honey products arrive safely to you.  Our optional gift wrapping includes paper bags and no Issue tissue paper which is Eco-friendly by nature.  noissue Tissue is printed with soy-based inks, on FSC-certified paper, and is Acid, sulphur, and lignin-free. noissue Tissue is 100% Compostable, Recyclable, and made from recycled materials.

Most items we try to source plastic/package free. Products are packed as flat as possible to conserve on packaging materials and reduce waste.

RECYCLING GLASS HONEY JARS & LIDS

We strongly encourage our customers to recycle or up-cycle their glass honey jars and lids.  Many customers enjoy using these beautiful jars as up cycled spice containers or storage containers.  For every ton of glass recycled, more than a ton of natural resources are saved, including 1,300 pounds of sand, 410 pounds of soda ash, 380 pounds of limestone and 160 pounds of feldspar.

Find Creative Uses for Glass Jars
If you don’t have curbside glass recycling or a drop-off location near you, find a creative way to recycle glass bottles and jars by upcycling or reusing them around your home.
How to recycle glass jars:
  • Use them as storage containers for leftovers or packed lunches.
  • Build a garden in a glass jar.
  • Use them as water, juice and beer glasses at home.
  • Use jars as flower vases or candle holder
  • Buy our beeswax craft kit and make a candle in the up-cycled honey jar
