Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary:  The Marketing Coordinator is a seasonal
position responsible for creating, developing and implementing marketing and
communication strategies. This will include print, web, social media, and
digital communication initiatives. This position is also responsible for
graphic design for various initiatives and campaigns.  This position is part of the 2022 Federal Canada
Summer Jobs program designed to support youth. 
As such it requires all applicants to be aged 15 – 30 years old.



Review, audit and update

Review and update

Plan and create consumer
digital content, e-newsletters, e-blasts, blogs, editorials

Build e-newsletter campaigns
in Mail Chimp

Assist with social media

Provide marketing and
communications support to staff

Develop and write social
media content.

Strong written skills,
and the ability to storytell through the written word and visual images

Proficient in Microsoft
Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience with Canva,
Lightroom and/or PhotoShop is preferred

Familarity with Shopify
is an asset (knowledge of Liquid is not required)

Awesome creativity and
ability to work within applications to build campaigns

Knowledge and experience
with social media and scheduling software

Knowledge and experience
with email dissemination platforms, including Mail Chimp.

Solid project management
skills; the ability to multi-task and work independently
